The Tamil Nadu 11th public exam results for 2025 are tentatively expected to be released on May 19, 2025. The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) will officially announce the results online, and students can check their results by logging in to tnresults.nic.in with their registration number and date of birth.

The public examination for Plus One (Class 11) has concluded. On the final day, students reported that the Physics question paper was somewhat difficult. When asked about this, teachers said, "Some of the 1-mark and 5-mark questions in the Physics paper were difficult. However, the 3-mark questions were easy. Average and slow learners should not face issues passing. Similarly, the Economics question paper, which is a subject in the Arts stream, was easy."

Following the conclusion of the exams, students were seen celebrating with great joy. Some schools even held small farewell or send-off functions. Next, the answer sheet evaluation work for the nearly 800,000 students who took the Plus One exams will be carried out from April 4 to April 17. Over 80 evaluation camps have been set up across Tamil Nadu for this purpose. About 46,000 senior graduate teachers will be involved in the correction process. After completing the tasks, including marks entry, the results are scheduled to be announced on May 9, according to education department officials.

Meanwhile, as students exited the school premises after finishing their exams, the Chief Educational Officer of Chennai district, Pugazhendhi, had instructed school principals to deploy police officers for security to prevent any untoward incidents. Accordingly, police protection was provided at examination centers across the Chennai district. However, after the exam at a government higher secondary school in Kodambakkam, students reportedly set off firecrackers in the restroom, causing a brief commotion. This happened despite the presence of four police officers led by an Assistant Inspector, who were conducting various checks as part of security measures.
