Kalanjiyam Mobile Application Salient features

A) The “KALANJIYAM” Mobile Application enables the Government Employees to access the following services.

1. Leave request & Approval:

a) Request for various types of leave can be initiated by the employees.

b) The approval by the officers can also be processed through the App.

2. Profile Update:

 Employees can update their Mobile No., e-Mail ID, Address & Passport size photograph (for updating in e-SR database)

3. Advance Request:

 Employees can tender the request for various Advances like

a) Festival Advance,

b) Short term Advance like Handloom Khadi, Education etc through the app.

c) Request for GPF Advance/Withdrawal and enhancement of GPF subscription.

4. Reports: 

Employees can download their Monthly Pay slip, Pay drawn particulars and e-SR instantly.

5. Income Tax Regime selection Employees can exercise their option for IT regime for every financial year.

6. Pension Proposal Request: Employees can initiate the pension proposal request through the app itself.

B) For Pensioners

1. Digital Mustering:

Pensioner can do their Annual Mustering and check the status of Mustering.

2. Profile update:

Pensioners can update their Mobile No., e-Mail ID, Address and Single/Joint Photograph (Passport size)

3. Advance Request: 

Pensioners can request for sanction or stoppage of Festival advance.

4. Reports:

Pensioners can download their Monthly Pension Slips, Pension drawn particulars & Form 16.

5. Income Tax Regime selection: Pensioners can exercise their option for IT regime for every financial year.

6. Transfer Request:

 Pensioner can tender transfer request for change of place of pension payment.

The request tendered through Mobile app can also be given via Self service module of the employees/pensioners. These requests are to be processed through ‘Kalanjiyam Portal (https://www.karuvoolam.tn.gov.in/web/tnta) by the officials assigned with respective roles (leave request alone can be approved in mobile app itself)
