 G.O-205- Emis Appointment of state project director. Samagra Shiksha as the Administrative head of the EMIS - orders issued

Educational Management Information System is the digital backbone of the School Education Department wherein the information of every school, teacher and student in Government, Government aided and private schools is maintained on a real time basis. It helps the Government in taking data driven policy decisions.

2. In order to ensure efficient functioning of the EMIS the Government hereby appoint the State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha as the Administrative Head of the EMIS. The State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha shall act as administrative and technical head and controlling authority of the EMIS.

3. The Government instruct all head of the departments under School Education Department to work in co-ordination with the Administrative Head of the EMIS, State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha in this regard.
